Rep. Mo Brooks introduced House Resolution 2940. Also known as the Congressional Self-Defense Act, it would allow lawmakers to carry a concealed weapon anywhere in America except the U.S. Capitol or when in the presence of the President or Vice President.

Mo Brooks, I proposed it for me. And I don’t care if the president is around either.

I passed it.
